THE WRECKING YARD
The Story of the Wrecking Yard One day while walking through a wrecking yard, I began to survey the years and years of neglect and abuse. There were so many cars that were once somebody's pride and joy, now rotting away in a field with little hope of restoration. My eyes caught a 1967 Plymouth GTX, sitting on its frame, with major areas of rust. 'What a machine,' I thought, whose history is typical of such a car.' Purchased right off the showroom floor, a young husband explains to his new wife that this really is a practical car, compared to some of the other models offered. It had room for the "future" kids and it ran really smooth. The 440 cubic inches under the hood meant nothing more than the fact that it had the power to climb up steep hills if need be % |

How to Know You'll Go To Heaven When You Die

God Loves You!
"Jesus loves me, this I know" is a surety that belongs to all Christians. Christians know themselves to be immersed in the love of Jesus and, therefore, the love of God. Why, You may ask is that important? Doesn't God love everyone?
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
All Have Sinned
Yes, He does, but His love reacts differently depending on our relationship with Him. God is holy. God cannot tolerate sin. Without Christ, God sees us as sinners. None of us is what God wants us to be.
"For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"As it is written. There is none righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3:10)
Gods Remedy for Sin
God still loves us, but his love takes the form of judgment. Without Christ we are spiritually dead. We are separated from God with no chance for a relationship with him. The glorious news is that it doesn't have to be that way .
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." ( Romans 6:23)
" But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who are in His name; (John 1:12)
"For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures". ( 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
All May Be Saved Now
Yes, Jesus Christ has paid the penalty for your sin and mine. God wants you to be part of his kingdom. He wants to give you the gift of salvation. But--he can only do it, if you are willing to believe.
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock. If anyone hears My voice, and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him and he with Me. (Revelation 3:20)
You can ask Jesus to save you right now sitting at your computer. Take just a minute to pray. Tell Him that you are sorry for the times you sin and that, with His help, you will try to live in a way pleasing to Him. Ask Him to save you and come into your life. If you will pray that simple prayer, Jesus will forgive your sins. Today can be the beginning of a new, personal relationship with God. You will have His presence to help you live today, eternal life, and home in Heaven.
